The German-Israeli Helmholtz International Laboratory aeroHEALTH, a cooperation project between the Helmholtz Zentrum München, the Forschungszentrum Jülich and the Weizmann Institute in Israel, endeavors to mechanistically understand the biological and health effects of atmospheric aerosols. Together with the opening, the first joint measuring campaign was launched on the health hazard of atmospherically formed secondary aerosols and nanoparticles.

This event will took place in our laboratory, Gmunder Straße 37, 81379 Munich, on Thursday, December 5th, starting with a welcome speech by the scientific director of the Helmholtz Zentrum München, CEO Prof. Dr. Ing. Matthias Tschöp. After a short introduction to aeroHEALTH and the measuring campaign and a tour through the laboratories, the participants were invited to a small snack and drinks.
